The Sustainable Brands community commenced its activities in 2006. This year, events are taking place in 12 cities (including, for the first time, Tokyo) in 11 countries.
In each of these countries, the SB community convenes to hear from the country’s leading companies and foundations about various activities and innovative measures related to “Activating Purpose,” the global theme, and about how such efforts are helping to solve challenges unique to the country or region concerned.
This session will introduce the key topics in the SB conferences across the globe, and explore whether there are any approaches or case studies that Japanese companies in particular could learn from. The global trends of the future will also be introduced.
As for the panelists, SB founder KoAnn Vikoren Skrzyniarz, and Sirikul Nui Laukaikul, who is the organizer of SB Bangkok and a global evangelist for Sustainable Brands, will outline the situation of SB around the world. In addition, Hitachi’s Norio Masuda, who participated in an SB plenary in San Diego, and Fujitsu’s Hideyuki Kanemitsu, who spoke at Sustainable Brands Bangkok, will offer their own insights on the SB trends. The facilitators for this session will be Naoki Adachi, the producer of SB Tokyo, and Shinsuke Suzuki, who is an SB Worldwide Managing Partner.
